Trendy Twine - Ahoy

Hi There!

I'm over on the Trendy Blog sharing a fun Nautical card :) I'm sort of obsessed with the nautical theme right now since our last vacation. We were fortunate enough to visit Sweden and stayed with friends in the most beautiful little fishing/boating town. So every store had the MOST gorgeous nautical products. So I'm so happy that this is our them this month and we are spotlighting "In the Navy" Trendy Twine.
I wanted to make a card that was universal so I could use it for different occasions although I kind of looks like baby boy colors. I started with die cutting rectangle mats from blue and white striped paper.  I die cut a large anchor to be the focal point.

I just LOVE the huge anchor with the trendy twine tied around. Lastly, I just printed the sentiment on my card stock because I actually couldn't find an "Ahoy" stamp, (I think someone needs to do some stamp shopping) I hope you all have a chance to visit the blog, we have some fun inspiration all month long.

Trendy Twine - Happy 5

Hi There!

It's a special day for us over at Trendy Twine, we are celebrating Sukie and Helen. They have been with Trendy Twine for 5 years! Wow, five years of gorgeous designs by both of them! So let the celebration begin...

I created some celebrate cards to send to both of the girls! I used my "Special" paper reserved for "Special" people :)

                  Sukie's card                                                          Helen's card

I die cut celebrate and added it above the flower patterned paper.
I also used Black Licorice Trendy Twine to add a bit of Trendy touch!

Please stop by the BLOG to join in the celebration! I'm sure Sukie and Helen will Love it!

Trendy Twine - Cupcake Card

Hi There!

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying summer :) Today, I'm over on the Trendy Blog sharing a cupcake birthday card using our spotlight color  Bubblegum Taffy. I am just loving all the gorgeous projects this month. I used our fun theme Sweet Treats.

I found this cute paper with flag banners on it and thought it would be cute to line some of the banners with the Bubblegum Taffy twine. I die cut a circle and inked it up and then added a little paint platters.

I originally wanted to make a "Hi" card for a friend, but I thought these colors were better suited for a birthday card. They always remind me of a party :)

Hope you stop by the blog and have a look at all the FUN!

Trendy Twine - Sweet Treat

Hi There,

I'm over on the Trendy Blog sharing a quick little party treat. This is such a quick and easy treat using a few fun items from The Trendy Store.

I started with our showcase twine this month Bubblegum Taffy, this twine make me want to blow lots of bubblegum bubbles :) Our theme is Sweet Treats, so here is a fun party treat to leave your guests with and the end of the day.

I love the Clear small treat bags they are shaped like mini lunch bags. perfect for candy, they are great for large gumballs, simply pick the color and match your party decor perfectly.

In this case I used the awesome color scheme of the Bubblegum Taffy, it's so yummy! I filled the bag with the gumballs, added a very simple tag and die cut "Sweet" and stamped treat from the Foodies Planner Stamps

I tied the Bubblegum Taffy in a great big bow and it was complete. So simple and quick!

Hope you stop by the blog and have a look at all the FUN!

Trendy Twine - Celebrate

Hi Trendy Fans!

This is Shelly from My Paper Love sharing a card spotlighting Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine. I love Red, White, and Blue and thought... I'm going to try and use the patriotic theme to create a universal celebration card.

I wanted to use these pretty rose die cuts because I wanted to put the twine in the center of each rose.

I used a "Celebrate" die cut and cut some silver glitter card stock and  it just didn't show up as much as I would have liked so overlapped it with blue card stock.

I'm always looking for a unique or non traditional way to share something fun. So here's one more way to use a patriotic theme in a celebration kinda way :)

Hope you stop by the blog and have a look at all the FUN!

Trendy Twine - Happy Father's Day!

The Trendy team is celebrating Father's Day and we have some great projects for you! I always give treats to the Father's in my life! My hubby loves his snacks. So this bag will be filled with all his favorite tiny treats :)

This is such a fun little gift idea and so surprisingly easy. The hardest part was picking colors :)

I started with the APB Kraft bags and for the collar I just used a strip of card stock and wrapped it to look like a collar.

Next I cut the tie from an old cricut cartridge. I can't remember which one :(  but there are lots of tie die cuts available. You can even hand cut one.

Lastly, I just wrapped the top in Spiced pumpkin trendy twine and tied a tiny bow.

So easy and so FUN!

Hope you stop by the blog and have a look at all the FUN!

Trendy Twine - Patriotic Treat Box

Hi there,

I'm over on the Trendy Blog sharing a fun project, we are spotlighting Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine. It is so yummy! I created a fun little treat box that would be cute for the 4th of July or even a treat for dear old Dad :)

I used one of my favorite treat boxes the clear take out boxes in a gable style. I just LOVE these boxes and they lok great filled with anything but my favorite candy to use is big bright gumballs.

I covered the front and back of the box with a great big star that I die cut and filled the center with Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine

Lastly, I tied a very simple bow on top, I didn't want to make it too girly as I was thinking of a more masculine project.

If you need a quick and cute project for treats, try this one.

Stop by store and check out all the goodies this month!
